B’s Instapot Shredded Chicken

Gather Chicken – I use one breast per person but I can make up to 5 breast at a time.

Season the chicken – I use a variety of seasonings depending on what meal I’m using it for but my primary go-to spices for almost anything are: Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Pepper and Paprika. You can also use Taco Seasoning, Italian Seasoning, Cajun… whatever you’d like.

Layer the chicken as flat as possible on the bottom of the instapot and pour chicken broth into the pot so the chicken is covered.

Next: Pressure cook on HIGH for 10 minutes with a Quick Pressure Release.

Once all is released and cooled a little, I gather a mixing bowl and a hand mixer to shred the chicken.

Since I do a lot of meal prepping, I grab freezer baggies and shred 2-3 chicken breasts at a time and stuff the baggie. I label the baggie with the date of the meal and the meal name – this makes it easier when pulling it from the freezer.
